Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026

The Power Stop ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of venue partners, applicants, and website visitors. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights with respect to that information.

Information We Collect

When you submit a venue application or contact form on this website, we collect the information you provide: your name, work email address, phone number, venue name, venue type, and any notes you include. We do not collect information automatically beyond standard server logs (IP address, browser type, referring URL) that are retained for security and analytics purposes.

We do not collect, store, or sell personal data from venue guests or end users of our charging kiosks. Rental payment processing is handled entirely by PCI-compliant third-party payment processors; The Power Stop does not store card numbers or payment credentials.

How We Use Your Information

Information submitted through venue application forms is used solely to evaluate your placement request, contact you about your application, and build a custom revenue proposal for your venue. We do not use this information for advertising, do not sell it to third parties, and do not share it with anyone outside of The Power Stop's operations team.

Server log data is used for security monitoring, diagnosing technical issues, and understanding aggregate traffic patterns. It is not linked to individual identities.

Venue Partner Data

If you become a venue partner, you will receive access to a dashboard that shows your kiosk's performance data: advertising impressions, rental counts, and your revenue figures. This data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and is visible only to authorized personnel at your organization and The Power Stop's account management team.

Monthly revenue statements are sent to the email address on file for your venue account. You may update this address at any time by contacting your account manager.

Cookies and Tracking

This website uses minimal, first-party cookies for session management and basic analytics (page views, traffic sources). We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels. You may disable cookies in your browser settings; doing so will not affect your ability to use this website, though some session preferences may not be retained.

Data Retention

Venue application data is retained for as long as there is an active or potential partnership relationship. If an application is declined or withdrawn and no future contact is requested, we will delete your personal data within 90 days of that determination upon written request.

Partner account data is retained for the duration of the partnership agreement and for up to 7 years following termination, as required for financial record-keeping purposes.

Your Rights

You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, or request deletion of your data where we have no legal obligation to retain it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email address below. We will respond to all requests within 30 days.

Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption for all data in transit, access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel, and regular security reviews. No method of electronic storage is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we will notify active venue partners by email. Your continued use of this website after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
